2012 UB Youth Workers Summit

Youth workers from United Brethren churches throughout the US will gather in Florida April 30 – May 3 for the annual UB Youth Workers Summit. It’s a great time for networking with fellow youth workers, sharing ideas, and learning how to be more effective in ministry.

Date: April 30 – May 3, 2012
Location: First UB Church, Holly Hill, Fla.

The church has lodging facilities, so there are no hotel costs. However, registrants are asked to bring their own bedding and towels. The registration fee (usually about $100) covers several of the meals. You mainly need to pay travel expenses, and some meal expenses.

Because of space limitations, this is designed for the “lead” youth worker at churches. Send the person who leads your youth ministry, whether fulltime, part-time, or volunteer.

In 2011, the Summit attracted 23 youth workers from across UBdom. It was a great time of networking with other youth leaders and being encouraged by others who are in the trenches of youth ministry. They enjoyed the beach, the golf course, and incredibly beautiful weather, along with the chance to slow down and step away from the constant demands of youth ministry.
