The business session is the primary reason for the national conference gathering every two years. This year’s business session is scheduled for Wednesday July 16, at 9:00 am.

Voting Members

The voting members of the US National Conference include the US Bishop, national directors, ministerial delegates from each congregation who have affirmed the National Conference Covenant, and lay delegates from those same congregations. The Discipline states, “the number of lay delegates for each church will be based on the official statistics at the end of the first full year preceding the national conference” (¶503.3).
